Using a tiny camera attached to the end of a long flexible tube (an endoscope) doctors are able view images from within your body in a minimally invasive way. The endoscope is a very functional tool as it can also be used for small specimon collections or biopsies due to it's hollow design allowing a range of instruments to be passed through the scope in order to assist in diagnosis or complete minimally invasive procedures.
